Intricate Lace
I love lace. I like the many simplicity but intricate (complex) details it brings forth. Another level outside white lace is colored lace, especially when you do color block with it.
I was born and raised in Nigeria so when I got a chance to visit I went. I was armed and ready. I had a PowerPoint presentation of outfits and pieces I wanted made. It is cheaper to sew in Nigeria than here in the US. My mom gave all the girls in my family this material for Christmas and this was what I did with mine. My inspiration was a J.crew skirt. I love the styles of J.crew.
This is a peach lace from Nigeria. I love the details of the skirt and the softness of the lace. It is a simple style but the lace material brings out the details. The tailor did a great job. There is so much talent in Nigeria.
I paired the skirt with a blue H&M top for $4.95 plus extra 35% off and also the blue ring from
H&M. I love a good bargain. The shoes are from Nine West. I love the snakeskin pattern on the shoes and how the colors of the outfit are incorporated in the pattern.
FYI: Explore other countries and states. Adventures are fun. It gives you something to look forward to and also a chance to learn something new.

That skirt is gorgeous and I love the story behind it!
