Taste the rainbow is the slogan for Skittles. I randomly chose these two colors from a blue skittles bag and paired it with a neutral to create this outfit. This was the challenge for the PFC hosted by Sewpetitegal this month. I also loved it so much I decided to use it for the Everybody, Everywear challenge on color blocking. I was so happy with these colors and I loved this top so much I decided to restyle it again. My motto is to do your best with what you got. You can style different pieces in your closet multiple ways so why not. Pink is a girl’s favorite color. Well one of my favorite color. I feel like a Covergirl model in this outfit.
The skirt is from The Limited. The reason I love The Limited is that they have quality and lasting pieces. They use high end materials to make their clothing have an expensive feel to it. I also love how they have $15 off $50 coupon. This coupon ends July 15 so go check out their sales. They also have additional 50% off clearance. If you don’t want to spend $50 and are a teacher or student, if you show your ID at the store you get extra 15% off. They never ask you but you can ask them about it.
FYI: If you do not have a huge budget to go shopping with, you can always find statement pieces from thrift store, vintage store, or gently used clothing store. Just because you don’t have a lot of money doesn’t mean you can't look good.
